KEY MANAGEMENT

Consul Rene L. Ledesma, a.h. (CEO and President). Rene has been in the real estate development industry for the past thirty years, with a solid track record of fully completed and established property developments under his belt. He was the former president of Sicogon Resorts International in the mid-70s, when the island resort rose to international prominence. Rene has also held several leadership positions in various businesses, which include President of the Ledesma Overseas Shipping Corporation (1969 to 1977), President of Maric Shipping Lines (1977 to 1982), Chairman and Director of Palm Investment Corporation (real estate) (1971 to 1976), and Director of Acoje Mining Company (1972 to 1976).

Rene A. Ledesma, Jr. (COO and Executive Vice-President). Rene Jr. pursued a Masters of Science in Real Estate Development (September 2001) degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he wrote a thesis on “The Feasibility of Establishing a Secondary Mortgage Market in the Philippines ”.

Rene Jr. specializes both in project management and marketing. Prior to working for LDC, Rene Jr. was a Brand Manager at Procter and Gamble Philippines , where he managed Ivory Soap and Shampoo. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the American Resort Development Association, and the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions. Rene Jr. graduated from De La Salle University with a double degree in Applied Economics and Business Management, and has taken several units under the De La Salle University Masters of Business Administration program. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Makati-Ayala.  

Consul Fortune Aleta-Ledesma, a.h. (VP for Marketing/Sales). Fortune has had an extensive background in management, sales and marketing, and public relations. She was the General Manager of Sonix Video Services, Inc. and Fortune Boutique, Inc., President of the Catholic Women’s Club (1996 to 1998), Director of the Friends of the Cultural Center of the Philippines , and a member of the Zonta Makati Women’s Business Club. She also successfully organized Disenyo Para sa Mahirap, a successful fashion show cum charity event for Mare (the First Lady of the Philippines foundation). Fortune is also the honorary Consul of Monaco to the Philippines . She holds a Doctor of Optometry from Centro Escolar University , where she graduated cum laude.
